Saturday Game and Practice

10/27 - game is at Acworth... meet there at 4:30pm so we can practice before the game - GAME is at 6pm

SUNDAY DETAILS!

Hey everybody! We need to meet at 3pm at the check-in. You will have to follow signs once you arrive at the McEachern campus to make your way to the cheerleader check in. Once all girls have arrived, we will check in as a team. Again here are the details:

• 3pm meet at check in (don't be late!!!)
• ~3:35pm we will go to warm-up
• ~4:10pm COMPETE!
• ~6:25 awards ceremony begins

REMINDER: All times are approximate! This is a LONG afternoon so please remember to bring lots of SPIRIT and PATIENCE with you!

Saturday - 11:15am meet at Hillgrove concession - the game is at 12pm - we may have a practice after the game one last time before our competition Sunday

• 6pm game at Hillgrove
• 5:15pm meet at the concession area
• uniform w/long sleeve under armour, polka dot bow and pompoms
• bring warm-ups in case it gets cold

October 3 thru October 9

Parents: thanks for consistently getting the girls to practice on time. Our team will be better and have a bit more practice time because of your efforts.

• 8pm KMHS Homecoming Pep-Rally at the Kennesaw Depot
• there will be a fantastic fireworks display at the end of the pep-rally

• 6:30pm - 8:30pm practice @ Kennesaw Elementary (inside)
• also at 6:30pm there will be a manditroy parent meeting with the cheer director, Tiffany Mathis, to discuss our upcoming competition season
• girls must wear their cheer tennis shoes and a white t-shirt for practice
• attendance is a MUST from this point forward - after 3 misses a cheerleader will no longer be able to compete - per the youth program rules

• 6:30pm meet at KMHS at our spot to paint the run-through
• 7:30pm is the homecoming pep rally - then Dad's vs coach flag football game
• wear your polka dot ribbon and bring your white practice shirt to change into after we paint

• @ New Hope Eagles
• 5:15pm meet at concession stand - game is at 6pm
• wear uniform, bloomers, new polka dot bow
• bring poms and water to drink

Week of September 10

Monday, Sept 10 - cheer practice from 6:30pm - 8pm at the track

Tuesday Sept 11 - cheer practice from 6:30pm - 8pm at the track

Thursday, Sept 13 - wear paint clothes - 6:30pm meet up at the KMHS gym area where we will paint our run-through - bring (wear) tennis shoes so we can practice after we finish painting - parents pick girls up at the track ~8pm

Game starts at 4pm @ Hiram Cougars

Meet at the Hiram concession stand at 3:30pm

Due to other committments, Coach Whitt will not be able to meet us early enough to braid hair this week. She will do it next time.

Change for game Saturday

Please meet at Hiram at 5pm so Coach Whit can french braid the girls hair. We will have new ribbon for the ends. Thanks!

Tuesday, Sept 4 - practice 6:30pm - 8pm

Thursday, Sept 6 - practice 6:30pm - 8pm - Paint Runthrough today!!!! Wear paint clothes - meet up at the covered area by the high school gym. Once finished, we will go to the track and practice.

Saturday, Sept 8 - game at Hiram - meet by the concession at 5:30pm - wear uniform, bow, a smile and bring pompoms!

Week of August 27

Monday, August 27 - practice 6:30pm - 8pm

Tuesday, August 28 - practice 6:30pm - 8pm

Thursday, August 30 - NO PRACTICE TODAY!!!!

Friday, August 31 - KMHS Youth Program Night vs Pope HS

• cheerleaders will get into the game FREE
• meet Coach Whit @ 6:15pm on the track where we practice
• WEAR UNIFORM, ponytail w/bow and pompoms
• cheerleaders will walk out on the field with the football team during the pre-game activities
• parents - tell your cheerleader where to meet you after she exits the field

Saturday, September 1 - 4pm home game vs Acworth

• wear uniform, pony tail w/bow, pompoms
• meet behind the bleachers @ 3:30pm
• WATER only to drink
• if you are bringing the halftime snack, it's okay to bring a juice box for the girls
• I will be at the field early so keep your cell phone on just in case there is a delay

Great job on Saturday! I am proud of your effort on the field!!! Come ready to work on Monday as we will be working on STUNTS and a half time performance. GO Mustangs!

Week of August 20

• Monday, August 20 - cheer practice from 6:30p - 8p - Coach Wit will be in charge - Coach G will NOT be at practice
• Tuesday, August 21 - cheer practice from 6:30p - 8p - Coach Wit will be in charge - Coach G will be there at 7:15p
• Thursday, August 23 - WEAR PAINT CLOTHES - we will be painting our first run-through - after practice we will have a short parent meeting at 8pm
• Saturday, August 25 - Game 1 - meet at the KMHS track where we practice at 5:15pm - Don't be late!!!!! Wear your uniform, bloomers, white shoes and ponytail w/bow - Remember to bring your pompoms and WATER to drink!

On a side note: Due to the BEE problem, I am BANNING all drinks except for WATER as the sweet drinks are what attract the bees. This goes for practices and games. If you bring a drink other than water, you will not be able to bring it on the track - your parents will have to hold it for you. Also - please do not wear parfume or scented lotion as that attracts BEEs too.
